i was told long ago my stomach has spasms and given dicyclomine..once 10 mg...once 20 mg...my stomach is spasming again..is there a higher dose ?..

See a physician: Reading between the lines it would appear to me that you need more than just a dose increase. You gastroenterologist should re-evaluate  your diagnosis and whether your current treatment is appropriate.

Bile leak: I always worry about a bile leak after a cholecystectomy. I would be urgently evaluated by the surgeon who performed the surgery, if it continues to be of discomfort for you through the night, have a very low threshold for being emergently evaluated in the emergency department by an ER doctor. RUQ anatomy: Anatomically, the right upper quadrant (RUQ) of the abdomen includes: liver, gallbladder, pancreatic head, bile ducts and ampulla, c-loop of the duodenum, stomach antrum and pylorus, the hepatic flexure of the colon.  Don't forget the diaphragm and lower chest are pretty close by. The abdominal musculature, ribs, and skin can all contribute as well to localizing RUQ pain. An exam is appropriate.

It is common for patients suffering from gastroesophageal reflux to have pain or an upset stomach when lying down at night.  Try sleeping with pillows under your back to "prop" yourself up.

Speak with your physician for a proper history and physical examination.

Stomach ache could be gastritis, stomach or duodenal ulcer, acid reflux, etc. We need more information to determine the cause of your problem.
