Feverish skin rashes: You should see a doctor to rule out vasculitis or a late drug reaction since those are more severe conditions. Simple hives usually does not accompany with fever.

Hives: If it is indeed hives, the cause of those is not known. Allergic nature is suggested, but the search for the offending substance is vain in most cases. Hives tend to remit on their own just like they appear without any warning. However, hives are often misinterpreted by general population and there may another type of rash, so i urge you to check with your primary care physician or dermatologist.

Possible: Anxiety and stress have been known to induce or aggravate hives.  However this diagnosis is usually made after the common causes have been ruled out. The most common type consists of small red itchy bumps called cholinergic urticaria.

Yes: Idiopathic urticaria (hives for no readily-identifiable reason) can be brought on by stress, anxiety and a variety of other things. First-line treatment is antihistamines. You might try a combination of either Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Claritin (h1 blockers) with either tagamet or Zantac (h2 blockers). You should also see a doc for a thorough evaluation and other treatment options.

No: Allergy to triamcinolone acetonide is rare so there's probably another explanation.  Also this drug may not  be very effective here if hives (Urticaria) is truly what you have.  Rashes are very difficult to describe.  Can you send a photo?  There are very good over the counter anthistamines that can help hives.

From Hot Shower/bath: It may be from taking a shower/bath with hot water as it raises your body temperature, and when you come out and use towel.That may trigger to the skin and stimulate histamine release, which causes hives.
You should consult an allergist to find the cause and get appropriate treatment.

Hives that warn: Not the urticaria, but occasionally urticaria can be associated with conditions that can show chest x-ray changes such as infection, hodgkin's lymphoma, and other cancers. You need to pursue this immediately!
