See details: Low C3 and C4 can be seen in numerous conditions or may have no clinical importance at all. The conditions you list would not cause the low values. Why were the tests ordered in the first place? You should address this question to the doctor who ordered the tests.

Terminology: Cluster headaches historically were also termed "histamine cephalgia", but the headaches had nothing to do with histamine, and migraine has little to do with this also.  Histamine does increase as an allergic phenomenon, and seasonal allergies seem more frequent in migraine pts.  If you suffer both, a drug called Cyproheptadine may treat allergies and prevent migraines (twofers).

High histamine: Typically you get this when you have an allergic reaction.  It is a substance released by mast cells in your body, causing all the symptoms of an allergy.

Block and Lower: Besides the conventional approach to block histamine receptors with agents like benadryl, (diphenhydramine) i also like to use agents that naturally lower the white cells production of histamine. These include: quercetin, stinging nettles leaf, bromelain, and n-acetyl cysteine (nac) a natural substance use in emergency rooms for asthmatics.

No scientific basis: You can find histadelia on any Google search, but NOT on any serious medical search. There are patients who suffer from high histamine levels, but those are patients who have severe allergic reactions or rare tumors. Diphenhydramine will help such patients, also allergic patients in general, as many are mediated by histamine. However, histaelia is NOT a real disease.

Not known: I am not aware of any effect of histamine on the cell cycle. Histamine is also not usually associated with stress although there are many other cytokines which are.

Well: There are mast cell disorders which may cause histamine level to be frequently but not constantly elevated.  Histamine is stimulatory on the brain's receptors to keep you alert  and on acid production in the stomach as examples. However it is unlikely to be the cause for your insomnia although nasal congestion from allergic rhinitis may.

Yes and yes!: Histamine is an inflammatory mediator.  Itself can cause pain and vascular leakage. I unfortunately did not understand "resistance." do you mean to infection?

No Correlation: No proven tests to diagnose histamine intolerance short of an elimination diet. While it is possible to measure blood  activity well as histamine levels in the blood and urine, these results do not seem to correlate significantly with symptoms.If problem with allergies see allergist

recently found out i likely have high histamine. i had a reaction to advil&aleve. would tylenol also cause a histamine reaction? my nose and throat became very blocked/congested. took benadryl which helped. but throat feels like golf balls in my thrt

Aspirin-intolerance?: I presume that you either have nasal congestion/asthma or an anaphylactic reaction to NSIDS in general. The reactions are not considered primarily a histamine-mediated one.  Tylenol or Cox-2 inhibitors should be tolerated.  If Benadryl helps your symptoms, you should consult an allergist to find out what can be done to make you feel better.
