Oligomenorrhia : Infrequent cycles result in thickened uterine lining accounting for heavy periods are if you have enough body weight if you are too thin that can decrease the frequency of your cycles. Stress can do the same . Some women can have increased prolactinl levelsthe negative effects of decreased cycles is low bone density during reproductive years donot smoke decrease alcohol intake .Oral contraceptives.

Flu: You have to differentiate between 2 things that may happen after flu: one is bacterial infection ( staph pneumonia) which usually presents with high grade fever, chills, cough w\o chest pain. The other thing is the post viral syndrome which usually a continuation of the flu symptoms but get milder with time.

i was laughing very hard for maybe 5-7 seconds. i immediately noticed when i stopped that i saw a black spot in my vision, i felt a hot flash and sweating. it all happened as quickly as it came on. im going through menopause, can that cause it?!?

Hot flashes can be due to changes in hormones, or body's thermostat (Hypothalamus) becoming  more sensitive to slight changes in body temperature.

Doctor can examine: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... Over-the-counter treatments include Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin, Alleve, Excedrin Migraine, and their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, or one with other worrisome symptoms should be checked.

No worries: Congratulations on the baby Allison. Unfortunately they can reek havoc on your body. I would recommend you start with the basic moist heat, massage &amp; lymphatic drainage of that left arm. Carpal Tunnel syndrome is a distinct possibility. Try a cock up splint. You may need an MRI of your C-Spine if not improving. I wouldn't worry about the vasomotor symptoms. They will resolve with time. Common!

Variable: In my experience, which i admit may be skewed, hormone balances are the most common reason for hot flashes. However, there are several other possibilities for hot flashes in women. See a doctor for evaluation if they are bothersome or accompanied by other quality of life symptoms.
