Need more info: All depends on how the mole was removed and was it sent for microscopic examination? Did the doctor do a punch biopsy or cut it out with a scalpel and then suture it closed? The red ring could be indication of beginning infection. Please get back to the doctor who took the mole off and ask him/her the answers to the questions I just posed.

Many sources: This indicates that the blood comes from somewhere in or around the mouth. For example, could you have bitten the inner lining of your mouth or the tongue?  It is also possible that this may be from a upper nosebleed.   If this continues, you should at least ask your dentist to check it out for you.

: Bronchitis that is inflammation of the airways could cause bloody sputum. However  CXR is not a good way of evaluating because it is not sensitive in finding pathology. If you do not smoke, exposed to dust associated with cancer like asbestos, nor have family history of cancer you probably do not need to be stressed because it may just have been dust related inflammation that is likely to resolve.
