All : All recoveries vary enormously, depending on many factors. Certainly this is affected by the severity of the infection and how the appendix was removed. Even the definition of "recover" varies: for a desk job it may be a few days but for a job with heavy lifting (i think of roofers) it may be a few weeks.
I have never given a patient a timetable for activities as it is impossible to predict the recovery. Instead i recommend that they simply listen to the body as it will predict on a moment-to-moment basis what you can do and will punish you for exceeding these limits.

Talk to GP: Treatment for High Blood Pressure involves a continuous medication regimen. Starting and stopping the Hypertension meds is dangerous and ineffective. Your GP should coordinate any needed paperwork and medication adjustments in order for you to be treated for your Hypertension. Talk to them about your next steps.

Best BP MED IN YOUNG: You should try to move to the DASH diet eating plan. If you do it like your life depended on it  at least 50% will not need meds. If that fails to work and you are on the Zz DASH as reflected by Na|K in a urine the next preferred med is chlorthalidone depending on other issues you may have
