Patience.: Patience is a wonderful virtue that all parents and all prospective parents should develop, prior to getting pregnant. That means a person who says, "I want to be able to have a baby right away!" (with an exclamation mark), is not likely ready to have a baby. Patience is so important. That being said, one might ovulate weeks after removing the implant, but in real life, it is not very predictable.

i was on the implanon . i just got off the we are trying to concieve we'had sexual intercourse every day before and after the bc was removed. what are my chances of me being pregnant  how soon should i test. its been 10 days since we had unprotected sex.

Timing is everything: The time to get pregnant is in the few days just before you ovulate.  Since you have been on Implanon and having irregular periods, you won't be able to predict ovulation until your periods  become regularly every month again.  Have sex every 3 days.  This will give your partner's sperm a chance to mature and increase in number in between each time, and will coincide with ovulation eventually.

Sure, but...: Many things are possible in life... but that would be very, very unlikely. Contraceptive protection from an implant such as Implanon is not noticeably different the week before a new implant is due, the week that it is due, and the week after it is due. After that, the protection gradually drops off. Protection does not suddenly vanish while a woman is waiting for her implant replacement.

Yes: While the company probably put enough hormone in for some carry over, it either needs to be replaced or you need to start a new method.

Few: The witdrawal method is not effective, but the Implanon is very effective- less than one in 100 chance.

Not likely: There is probably some holdover in the effectiveness of the implement. But the company is not going to guarantee the results after the expiration date. I would suggest using some other form of birth control until you can have another implant.

Less than 1%: No birth control, short of a hysterectomy, is 100% effective. But if properly placed, the Nexplanon or Implanon is over 99% effective. It should not effect the pregnancy test.

Less than 1%: Out of 100 women using Implanon in a given year, less than 1 out of 100 will become pregnant.  No method other than complete abstinence is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy.  Even sterilization still has a chance of pregnancy.  If you are happy with your method but don't want to become pregnant, you could consider using condoms as back up method.  Hope that helps!
