Diarrhea: Diarrhea from banana could be related to sugar, do you have troubles with milk too?  
A whole banana can give people with irritable bowel problems, but a bite will not.  Does the quantity of banana make a difference?  Banana food allergy a less likely possibility.

Rice, bananas: Bananas, rice ( white or brown) and whole grain toast help with diarrhea. The bananas have fiber which absorbs the water and makes the stool thicker and formed. The rice is digested because the enzymes that digest rice are least affected by diarrhea. Avoid simple sugars and milk if the diarrhea is bad as they can make it worse. Stay away from fruit juices too.

Diarrhea: This has gone on too long without a diagnosis or projected treatment. You need to see a doctor, provide a detailed history including diet, travel, contacts, prior medical history and other associated symptoms. An exam of the stool will probably also be necessary since most of these are viral, but they have usually cleared up by now. Go see a GI or ID specialist. Hope you are better soon.
