please tell me, could i still wear contact lens that is already over a month?

Contact lenses: Should be disposed of on a regular basis, if you are wearing the disposable brand of lenses.  Disposable lenses are either the 2-week, 1-month, or 3-month variety.  You should adhere to whatever schedule your eye doctor recommends for your lenses.  If you are out of lenses and you need to buy some more, then you can probably safely wear your current pair until you get some more.

if you have pinguecula, can you still wear contact lens?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Yes as long as the contact is not irritating then this is ok. If the pinguicula is irritated by the contact lens and causing discomfort then contact lens wear would not be recommended.

Accepted Answer

Maybe: It's ok to wear contact lenses to the beach as long as you're not swimming.  If your eyes have contact with seawater, consider goggles or use of daily disposable lenses.

See your Doctor: Smoky vision can occur from cataracts, corneal abrasion, diabetic eye, and many other causes. Some are considered emergencies and some are not. See a healthcare provider who can do a good thorough eye exam.

It depends on lens: The safest way to wear lenses are the type which are replaced or sterilized every day.  With any type of extended-wear lens, the risks of infection, corneal irritation, allergy or blood vessel growth increase.  We recommend our patients to stick to the daily wear or replacement regimen with daily disinfection.

Contact lense: U can wear all day, take them off at night to soke in cleaning solution.

can you wear contact lens when your eyes are red?

Accepted Answer

Not a good idea: Redness is a sign of a problem.  As a general rule, anytime your eye is red, the first that you need to do is to take the contact lens out. There is strong likelihood that the redness is due to the contacts and keeping it in will only aggravate the situation (although your eye may feel better wearing the contacts).  See your eye md for an evaluation.

is it safe to wear contact lens with a subconjunctival hemorrhage?

Accepted Answer

Probably: As long as the overlying tissue is intact & there is no irritation.  You should be cleared by your eye dr first to be sure.

can a person blind in one eye wear contact lens in the seeing eye?

Accepted Answer

Yes: But make sure your good eye is really good. Get regular check ups and follow ups.

Question 10

i have corneal scar can i wear contact lens again after having corneal ulcer?

Accepted Answer

Yes: You can if they are new, the correct fit, and you have been examined by your eye doctor.  It may be possible the ulcer left damage to the cornea and you will not be able to wear them.  It is possible the contacts led to the ulcer, make sure they are the proper fit, you are taking care of them as instructed and do not sleep in them.
