Why: You are a 70 year old lady. Humatrope (human growth hormone) is the generic name for the medicine use to stimulate linear growth in children who lack adequate growth hormone. Why are you taking it. Are you sure you did not write the wrong name? There are many cause for fatigue and weakness. Please see a doctor for that. Best wishes.

: In mild case, it will only happen in prolonged standing. However, in advanced cases, leg edema (leg swelling) persists throughout the day, somewhat improved in early morning when you just woke up then it gets worse as the day progresses. Activity without prolonged standing may help the edema. In general, most leg edema, regardless the cause, gets worse with prolonged standing due to gravity.
