Yes: The important thing is the reason for the blood in the stool. That may be the underlying cause of your "weakness". It takes a lot of blood loss to cause anemia.

See your doctor: Anemia from your rectal bleeding is high on my list of diagnosis. You have to see your doctor asap. The low red blood cell count (anemia) may be causing all your symptoms. Go in today if you can. The reason for your rectal bleeding needs to be investigated.

You most : Certainly need to have a colonoscopy not only because of your age but due to your symptoms as well. If you haven't had one you need to see a colorectal surgeon or gastroenterologist and get one. Do not hesitate or delay. Early detection is the best thing.

Get someone: To take you to the emergency room at the hospital where your GI doctor practices and notify his office that you are on your way. If there is that much bleeding and you are symptomatic, it will need immediate evaluation and treatment.

If : If you think you are having bloody vomit and stool, then you should be evaluated as soon as possible. Give your doctor a call. If you cannot get a hold of your doctor then you should go to the emergency room for testing. It could be anything from infection, anal fissures, hemorrhoids, to more serious causes such as an esophageal tear, bleeding ulcer, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, vascular malformation or bowel ischemia.
