hi, my daughter has a number of pimples on her body. it's like water blister, it's itches quite a lot. there are a lot on her hands and feet. also we all now seem to get this in the house. the dr gave us ointment and allergex please help ?

Chicken pox: It's possible that this is chicken pox. Is he itchy? Fever? With varicella, there are 3 kinds of spots- 1) flat red spots, 2) clear blisters that open easily if you brush them, and 3) broken blisters that start to crust over. Usually, there will be all 3 types within the first day or so. Tepid baths with 2 tbsp of baking soda can help. Call the doctor if there is a high fever or other symptoms.

Edema: Generally the clear fluid that leaks is one of two things: either it's edema (swelling) from the trauma of the pressure or it's fluid from inside the cells that have ruptured.  Either way it's an indication that you're applying too much pressure to "pop the pimple".  It is not generally recommended to squeeze acne.  The pressure can actually cause the infection to go deeper or lead to scarring.
