Many causes.: Clear blisters can be due to a reaction to a cream, soap, detergent, or lotion.  Also, swelling of the legs can be so severe from sunburn or congestive heart failure or poor circulation that blisters can develop. There are other causes as well. Blisters on Legs: Blisters on the legs can be caused by:an allergic reaction, herpes simplex, infections like staph, fungal infections, drug eruptions, diabetes, contact dermatitis, an autoimmune disorder like bullous pemphigoid.  Treatment depends on the cause. See your local dermatologist for a diagnosis and treatment.

Photosensitivity: You are having a photosensitivity reaction to something either external like a photocontact  dermatitis or a reaction to a photosensitive internal condition which needs to be evaluated.  See your dermatilogist.

: A couple of neurological disorders could explain this, if present.  A peripheral neuropathy especially involving small fibers, and a demyelinating disorder affecting spinal cord pathways could also be considered.  If this is troubling, do see a doctor and discuss potential neurological consultation.

Swelling of LE's: many reasons 
-Congestive heart failure 
-incompetent veins in the LE's 
   - keeping your legs down prevent fluids from going back into circulation
- Meds your are taking 
- Eating too much salt 
- inactivity 
keep feet elevated , walk more , cut back on salt . Max 2000 MG /day 
wear support hose as soon as you get up

Edema CHF?: The reason you are both having edema is in part related to eating more sodium(Na) than your kidneys can get rid of. There are many causes and you need to find out as treatment will differ widely.  I recommend USING the app Cronometer to track Na intake to see where the Na is coming from. Your daily goal should be &lt;1,500 mg Na.  Discuss results with your team.  Keep them and us posted.
