See a podiatrist: Warts ( verruca ) are a virus, frequently they will not go away without professional treatment. Seeing a physician will also help make the right diagnosis. Sometimes people think the lesion is a wart and it can be a different diagnosis like a interdigital corn, callous, cyst, malignant melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma etc. If your physician is concerned he may do a biopsy.

i'm treating a plantar wart with duofilm. removed the dead skin, removed the puffy "wart", liquid came out. grew again, applied again. is this right?

Normal: The Salicylic acid in the Dr Scholls causes the surrounding skin to become white and the skin elevates as it retains moisture form being covered. The skin should return to normal

Possible: Possible , especially if you have pigmented skin but in time fades away.

Wart: Warts should be treated with liquid nitrogen every two weeks until they have resolved. Most warts do not go away with only one treatment.

Many options: There are many options. One standard treatment is a triple antibiotic cream; this will prevent infection but does not directly help healing. I prefer applying natural herbal extracts like aloe vera gel, calendula cream and neem oil. 
You can also take Vitamin C 1000 mg 2-3x/day to promote healing.

Blister from freeze: Take a sterile needle or pin, and clean the skin, and then poke the blister and try to push the contents out, without ripping the skin too much. The top skiin is likely already dead and the wart virus is likely not active or alive.

May disappear later: Any skin repair will go thru a transition period where the pigment producing cells that tone our skin surface may be slow to recover. The darker your normal skin tone the longer it may take to see full recovery. Recovery may take months but should be complete.

i had some warts frozen today with liquid nitrogen and they have gotten big painful blisters. how long will that last? will they return?

Liquid nitrogen tx: The blisters will eventually slough off in one to 3 weeks.  New skin will appear beneath the scab.  One treatment may or may not cure your warts.  Time will tell if you need another treatment later on.
