Warts are tricky: These viruses just want to survive -unfortunately at your expense. So it's good if you have a doc to guide you through treatment. There are physical ablation techniques (cryotherapy, lasers), and immunologically based (topical therapies like Imiquimod, occlusive therapy). An ID doctor or a dermatologist should be an expert in helping you. BTW there's a vaccine for genital warts but 'off label' 4u.

Yes it is possible: You should get checked by a doctor. If you used a condom there is a much less chance you will pick up the hpv virus. Also the hpv vaccine only covers 4 of the most common srtains of hpv (over 140 strains of hpv).

We don't have a cure: But, as warts appear they can be treated.  There are several topical treatments some, like imiquimod, can be applied by patients, others are applied by a physician.  There are also other techniques to burn, freeze, or cut them off.  All this requires a visit with your gynecologist of family doctor.

Not really...: Warts are viral (human papillomavirus or hpv). While toothpaste might hide or make it feel differently temporarily, it won't treat the condition.  Talk to your pcp about salicylic acid or cryotherapy ;-).

.cover for one week: Xover area with tape and change once or twice a week. The warts will become soft under earth and peel. The tape can be be augmented by placing wet Aspirin under tape on top of  warts to debridement or eat way at warts.Protect surrounding skin with vaseline.
