MED. SIDE EFFECTS:: The symptoms you mentioned may be from her disease condition itself. Common Amoxicillin side effects are: GI upset/diarrhea, hypersensitive reactions (urticaria, rash, anaphylaxis), etc.
See her pediatrician if something new or worsening is happening.

No: Stop the amoxil (amoxicillin). If he is on it for strep throat he may need a different antibiotic for a few days. If for something else he may be better already but vomiting may be a side effect of the medication and the best way to find out is to stop it and see if it goes away..

My child is ill: This very well may be a reaction or side effect in the GI tract of the antibiotic. If your child is improving then we have time to wait and watch.  But, if there is any fever, increasing lethargy or unresponsiveness you may want to call your doctor on call.

Can call doctor: A patient getting too much nausea or vomiting on a particular medication can call her doctor to ask if switching to a different medication may help. To treat strep throat (bacterial pharyngitis), there are other options, such as Zithromax (azithromycin), Keflex (cephalexin), etc... The doctor may also ask the patient to use the same drug but at different dosing, such as 250mg 3 times a day.

GI upset with bloating and nausea (even vomiting or diarrhea) are common side effects. Do not stop the medication before talking to the prescribing practitioner. Let your PCP know what you are experiencing so your medical treatment plan may be adjusted for your health condition.
