It depends on many: Factors since the silicone oil will need another procedure to remove and the c3f8 gas bubble will absorb and go away on its own without having another procedure to remove it.  Ask you eye md for an explanation that is specific to your condition.

Retinal detachments: Gas is usually injected into the eye after vitrectomy  performed for primary retinal detachments . Different gases have different retention times. Silicone oil is usually reserved for recurrent detachments especially when associated with  fibrosis causing traction referred to as pvr.

: There is no reason why you couldn't smoke weed.  It will have no effect on the vitrectomy or the oil inside your eye as long as you do not get so high that you lose control and fall and strike your eye.

This depends: This depends on the stability of your retinal problem and the practice of the doctor.  For certain problems, like retinal detachment from proliferative vitreoretinopathy  silicone oil is left in 6-12 weeks. This is a minimum.  Patients with "severe" problems can have silicone kept in for much longer. Discuss this with your surgeon.

: As long as your eyes are protected I can see no reason to hold off.

Months: Visual recover after procedures like you described takes months to occur.  Speak with your surgeon who can give you a much better answer than random doctors on the internet.

Severely: The silicone oil will affect the sight, but eventually it can be removed.  Also, the retinal detachment which required silicone oil was likely severe and that will affect your sight even more.

is taking flouvoxamine 100 once daily safe in this case for 3 month for treatment of panic disorder?

Flouvvoxamine: I'm sure your prescribing physician and ophthalmologist won't want you to discontinue this medication which is important for you. However make sure that all physicians, the ophthalmologist and anesthesiologist know you're taking this SSRI medication that has so many interactions with other meds that can cause the dangerous serotonin syndrome.

i had 3 retinal detachment surgeries. the first was the scleral buckle then it tore from traction due to scar tissue. it tore a second time they then did the silicon oil method to help. when finished will i ever be able to get the buckle taken off?

: without a completed dilated exam and review of your eye history that question is not able to be answered in this forum, it is best to ask your retinal surgeon.
