I am not: aware of any herbs or supplements or vitamins that can help in ED.  Most important thing is that you get tested to exclude any treatable medical condition, such as diabetes, that might be the underlying cause.

Endothelial damage: Endothelial damage to blood vessels usally has multiple causes. Research indicates that the damage occurs when endothelial cells are in an "inflammatory" state, yet this state is not due to vitamin or anti-oxidant deficiencies alone. Other metabolic factors  such as LDL levels and LDL subtypes, diabetes, mechanical sheer stress from elevated blood pressure and genetic factors all play a role.

Find cause first: Early 20s or 49yo as in your descriptor? If erectile dysfunction in young men, most likely not related to physical health but rather stress ; anxiety over performance begetting ed. Of course, you need to be happy w/your partner, not distracted by work/school/family/bills etc. Tobacco, alcohol ; other recreational substances plus poor health eg diabetes, high blood pressure etc don't help either.

: At age 16, the most likely cause of erectile dysfunction would be anxiety. If it is a persistent problem, you can see your doctor or a urologist to check for physical reasons for it, but most of the time these physical reasons would not be present. See your doctor if it persists. Good luck.

ED: If you are relatively healthy and not taking nitrates for chest pain, i would remcommend pd5 inhibitors such as viagra, cialis, or levitra (vardenafil).

Erectile dysfunction: First relax.  Anxiety, increasing your adrenaline with stress will not help.  Talk to your doctor, and at 45yrs of age, we can run some labwork to check  for your testosterone level and other hormones.  We might even give you a trial of viagra (sildenafil) or Cialis to see if you respond.  Most of the time that's enough to correct the situation if it hasn't corrected itself.  That's the least invasive approach.
