my 15 year old daughter has a sudden   visible vein in the corner of her mouth. is there any concern  over it?

Mouth vein: Without other symptoms I don’t see cause for alarm. I think it should be shown to her pcp at next appointment.

26 yo fem. very visible pulse in face near mouth on left side. currently in diagnostic process for chronic pain. can feel the vein & match pulse. pulse rate is a bit high 98. worried. should i see cardio? doesnt seem normal & it adds to my anxiety?

Normal: Children often times have very visible veins on their face usually because their skin is fair and the blue veins are easily seen.  As they grow and the skin changes these veins should become less obvious and prominent.  This appears to be a normal variant.

3yo has a visible red vein on her gums right by her front teeth.  is this cause for concern? or does everyone have visible mouth veins?

Probably normal: That said, has your child seen a General Dentist or a Peadric Dental Specialist?  Children should have 1st Dental Check-Up at age 1.  If your daughter has not yet seen a Dentist she is very overdue.  Call a Pro and have your child examined to make sure everything is absolutely normal.

Probably. : It's normal for the soft spot to flatten, sink and bulge depending on positioning, crying and hydration status.  And infants do normally have visible scalp veins.  What matters is how is the baby acting?  Feeding ok? Sleeping ok? Irritable? Fever? If other issues, contact your pediatrician.

Visible veins: Babies have fine skin and veins can shimmer through their fine skin.

that is normal: If you have fair skin, it is completely normal to see veins under the skin surface.  Light blue veins, in particular, are common and are called reticular veins.  Veins you can feel or skin discoloration (darkening) around the veins are abnormal.  Otherwise, no need to do anything.

Uvula: It's common to see red veins on the uvula.  Unless it's swollen, painful or there's other associated symptoms, then i like to tell my patients not to worry about it.
