: Canker sores in the mouth are not uncommon and many people who get them do attribute the combination of stress and fatigue for their development of these sores. Gastric issues like indigestion, inflammation, peptic ulcers as well as irritable bowel flare ups can be provoked by stress and anxiety.

21/2 year old ulcers in his mouth , fevers, dr said viral infection but i disagree, what else could be causing the ulcers?

He is likely correct: Those symptoms are consistent with a viral infection that is not uncommon in small children and is usually caused by a virus in the herpes family.  ( not an std ).  It can give high fevers a mouth full of ulcers, lymph nodes and generally feeling crummy. Biggest concern is maintaining hydration and may need to use a special rinse to provide pain relief to allow drinking. Can last days to a week.

i have been having an issue with mouth ulcers and no one has been able to assist me it comes and goes and gets really bad and have them for a couple weeks and a year ago it have me a really bad infection too?

Apthous ulcers: Canker sores can be caused by a variety of triggers, minor injury from dental work, vigorous brushing or sharp food, products containing sodium lauryl sulfate, acidic foods, diet lacking in vit B12, zinc, folate or iron, stress, hormone fluctuations. CS can also occur due to sp conditions: Celiac disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, autoimmune disorders or HIV. Talk to your Dr for a thorough exam

Difficult: I assume you mean your partner has HIV. It is very unlikely. Physical contact alone will not transmit it. Usually blood contact is required. So if your partner had open sores in the area you missed you could theoretically get sick but that is very very unlikely

Multiple symptoms?: Sounds like the symptoms you describe could indicate an std.  I would suggest you seek a physician.

Infection: Infections know no boundaries.  Important that you see BOTH your Dentist (re: mouth ulcers) and your Physician (re:blisters, UTI).  Have them communicate with each other.  You may have 2 separate but concurrent problems, or 1 problem in multiple locations.  You have to be examined to determine cause and treatment.

More info needed: Thanks for your question.  I understand that this can be very scary, especially when you don't have a clear cut diagnosis.  I would recommend getting a second opinion, preferably from a large academic center.  Definitely something going on and we need to get some answers for you.

i have sent my dr on wed whose diagnosis was viral throat. had sore throat since sat.taking 4hrly pain relief now have mouth ulcers. in pain still.

The mouth: ulcers are a clue that you may have a viral infection nicknamed "hoof and mouth" a common Winter viral illness...Takes a bit  longer to get better but YOU WILL!
Suggest that plain Milk of Magnesia on a cotton swab may help the mouth ulcers.

i have a pretty nasty viral infection in my mouth and sores under my tongue. its my last week and college, can i drink? or will this hurt progress?

Sores: Depending on what you drink I would suggest alcohol is a bad idea warm drinks would help
