had nerve emg of foot done for tingling and vibration, emg didn't show anything. is that normal with sciatica? pt isnt relieving symptoms.next step?

EMG doesn't show why: The problem occurred or what's causing it. It looks primarily at how muscles are reacting to a nrv problem. The problem could be in the nrv somewhere between the spine & muscle & may not necessarily be in the spine itself. Emg is helpful in determining how much nrv is being damaged & if there's a source of pressure on nrv roots. It may appear normal when nrv is damaged or "false negative".

Vibration Feeling: This is just a description of the sensation and could be from a circulation problem or a nerve problem.
It could also be from nothing none and many patients have this without any underlying condition.
Have a good neurological exam from your gp or from a neurologist.

Neuropathy: Is a possible cause for the sensations you describe. Medical conditions can cause neuropathy. It might also be due to spinal issues or be a local problem such as tarsal tunnel syndrome. See a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Tingling: Such tingling  or vibration sensation suggests an irritable,/irritated,/slightly inflamed/or pinched nerve. If it is localized only it doesn't point to deficiencies of magnesium,calcium or potassium. If tingling involves the entire right side of the body a brain cause is suggested. My guess is that this will resolve and not be serious. Consult a neurologist as needed.

Unfortunately there are probably no less than 30 different neuropathies that can be directly or indirectly involved. These can range from nutritional to physiological. To remove all doubt, a thorough evaluation is needed by a neurologist.

Vibration: Does this occur only when you are lying in bed? If so, what position are you in? There could be a pinched nerve causing this. Any back pain? A pinched nerve causing paresthesias in toes can come from back level as well as further down. Usually a herniated disc causing tingling in the toes will have associated pain in the back. If symptoms occur in both feet, have a blood sugar and B12 tested.
