Ed drugs: While both drugs are similar, cali's has a longer half life and some feel that is an advantage.  Both drug companies have generous sample programs for these costly meds....My advice is to be seen by your doc for ED and try each one....Then choose the one you prefer....But if you're ED is a new problem then see your doc first....Stop smoking and loose weight are better than meds for ED for many pts.

Urologist: Good to have an examination by a urologist who can determine alternate causes for ED.  The urologist can write a prescription for Viagra is that is appropriate.

No: Although Cialis is the only ed med approved for bph, 25mg daily viagra (sildenafil) should have similar mechanism of action.
