i have a very mild anterior wedge compression deformity of a midthoracic vertebral body. what are my options? could my chiropractor have caused this to happen?

: If asymptomatic then just observation and periodic followup. If symptoms pl see a ortho or neurosurgeon. Unless there was abnormally severe manipulation of the area causing acute pain- I doubt if it was caused by manipulation.

Benign Vascular: Tumors, they are common and seen in up to 20% of adults spine. They usually do not cause any symptoms, but are just picked up incidentally on imaging studies.

Usually none and : they can be found in approximately 11% of the population and are usually associated with no symptoms although rarely they may be large enough to compromise the structural integrity of the vertebra making them more susceptible to a fracture which can lead to pain, deformity and even neural tissue damage.

Actually all spinal-: -bodies are some what oval. On X rays they always look square. Almost all imaging shows them square, but coronal CT &amp; MRI images showthe more oval shape @ the disk sspaces.

Scheuermanns: Sheuermanns disease is classified as typical or atypical. Typical or classic is hyperkyphosis in thoracic spine with wedging of 3 or more adjacent vertebral bodies.  Atypical Scheuermanns is lumbar or thoracolumbar with decreased lordosis and may have fewer vertebrae involved.

can you cause any damage or break your vertebrae in your neck from it cracking when you were pushing against it to help move your body in a seat?

Accepted Answer

No: Not in otherwise normal bone.  It is more likely that if you felt a crack or pop, that it was coming from your facet joint which is not dangerous or uncommon.
