is it ok to continue taking metformin even if i don't have polycystic ovaries anymore? is it true it counters the effect of otc pills (weight gain)

Yes: If you have Insulin resistance or even diabetes metformin is fine to take.  Some people have lost weight on metformin, perhaps due to GI side effects.  I haven't heard that it can interfere with diet pills but those can be dangerous on their own.

Somewhat: Vaniqa is an anti androgen therapy.  It is not as effective as systemic drugs.  Flutamide or Eulexin (flutamide) is the most effective treatment we have found.  Even so, it doesn't remove or necessarily treat hair that has completely transformed to terminal hair.  These hairs are like eyebrow hair and may or may not respond.

Prevention: Vaniqa does not get rid of hair, it prevents hair from growing back once you have shaved or plucked it, or had it lased. You must continue to use it twice a day; when you stop, the hair will grow back.

Hormone levels: Have your hormone levels been checked by your dermatologist or an endocrinologist. If they are normal options for hair removal since it is blonde in clude threadingor waxing.

Yes: It is the main ingredient in salt substitutes but is found in other products on the pharmaceutical shelf including pills with kcl as the only ingredient.
