i'm looking for a natural remedy to sooth and heal external vaginal burning/itching due to low estrogen.  i don't want to use estrogen cream. thanks!

Atrophic vaginitis: It's tough to find a topical substitute for Premarin (conjugated estrogens) or Estradiol cream for use on atrophic vaginitis.  You could dry KY long lasting to improve overall moisture and intake of soy, which is a phytoestrogen may have a slight effect.  Just make sure your gyn has ruled out lichen sclerosis and infection as the possible cause.  Estradiol cream by the way is actually made from soy beans.

i have persistent vaginal itching/burning. i test negative for yeast and bacteria. no relief from estrogen cream. any other ideas?

Menopause, others?: After ruling out yeast and bacterial infections, the most common causes of vaginal itching/burning are: menopause (e.g.with dryness), chemical irritants (e.g. from clothing or washes), and lichen sclerosis.   If you can't identify a specific chemical irritant (i.e. from changes in detergent, new clothing, etc), then you should consult your Gyn or PCP for eval.

no estrogen after hysterecomy for 8 years, not by chose, but my vagina is so dry, that itches like crazy & burns & no sex drive, i don't have a disease?

try mosturizer: Vaginal moisturizers are sold in same location as lubricants (or may use coconut oil daily in vagina). Discuss your symptoms with your gynecologist. Regular visits are recommended even if your uterus has been removed.

bv or low estrogen? i am 36 & have high ph, also itching/tenderness midcycle. what is the best way to figure out if its low estrogen? my dr is confused

Have a test done: Your doctor can do a test to check for bv.  If you are 36 and having normal periods its unlikely to be low estrogen especially in the middle of your cycle.

34y (3d cycle): e2 38.8 pg/ml, lh 12.3 miu/ml, fsh 9.5, miu/ml, amh 3.15 ng/ml. are these numbers ok for egg retrieval? and could the e2 value be causing vaginal dryness and other low estrogen symptoms?

: The AMH value suggest a good number of viable eggs, and the LH level is high, but may indicate ovulation or if you received HCG to cause ovulation, which would of course show as high.  FSH is under 10, so can be reflective of increasing FSH in one's mid-thirties "34".  The answer depends on whether the ultrasound shows multiple follicles, and egg retrieval is indicated.

Yeast infection: You most likely have a common problem known as a yeast infection. Anti-fungal medications are readily available.

Not related: Infections as trichomonas vaginalis could be the cause of vaginal itching and not related to ovulation. Therefore, doctor's examination necessary.
