Had pregnancy test?: Recurrent abdominal discomfort is first addressed by accompanying signs/symptoms that may localize the organ involved: vaginal discharge or bleeding, alteration in periods, pregnancy risk? Fever, nausea, vomiting, altered stool pattern, blood with stool, tenderness, distension? Painful urination, blood in urine?  Recent trauma, herniations? Age? Gender? Risks? Also, what testing have you had?

See a doc: You can do a pregnancy test at home.  They are pretty reliable from the day you miss your period.  Regardless of whether or not you are pregnant, you should not be having this pain.  You will need to see a medical provider to help you figure out the cause and appropriate treatment.

Not enough info: You mean you got pregnant from the sex today and already have symptoms? Vaginal pain is not a sign of pregnancy. Need clarification on your LMP and if period is regular and how many days cycle to know if sex occured during your fertile period

Normal: It is very common to have pressure in the pelvis and abdomen at 36 weeks pregnant. If you think you are having contractions, call your doctor! if you are spotting or think you might be leaking amniotic fluid, call you doctor!  if it's just pressure, try resting. Drink some water. Use an exercise ball to lean / rock on.

Pain: With any pain I would suggest that you see your OB and make sure that is of no consequence

Depends: Considering the pain has gone away it is likely not serious. If this is coupled with bleeding, cramping or pain on urination I would recommend going to the Emergency Room.

i am 33 weeks pregnant and i get a pulling sensation from my vagina area up to my abdomen area. what could be causing this? is my baby okay?

Baby moving: If you are feeling consistent movement and there is no bleeding or obvious contractions, then your baby should be fine. If in doubt call your OB for evaluation. 

This is probably your lower uterine segment thinning out.
