Should be fine: Coconut oil quickly becomes liquid at body temperature, and should be fine.  However, the oil would degrade latex condoms . . . Best use a different type in that case.

: Once the perineal tear begins to heal, and any sutures are taken out or absorbed, gentle massage of the scar tissue left can reduce the appearance of scarring and allow for best healing. Use any lubricant for this (oil or water based) or even vitamin E oil. Just remember that if you will be having sex protected by a condom on your partner use only water based lubricants.
