Few possibilities: It appears that you have seen your doctor. Left flank pain may indicate a kidney problem therefore I suggest a sonogram of the kidneys. Itching in the vagina is generally due to candida infection. There is no harm in trying a course of over the counter Monistat7 vaginal cream. Stay in contact with your doctor and tell him about my suggestions

Yeast: Vaginal itching without discharge can indicate infections like yeast or stis like herpes. It can indicate an allergic reaction to household products like certain soaps and laundry detergents. There are also some skin conditions liked lichen sclerosis which can cause vaginal itching.  Start with an over the counter yeast  cream.  You could see a different Obgyn or  even a dermatologist

Most likely it: is a yeast or bacterial infection.  Please get yourself to the nearest healthcare provider to get diagnosed and treated.  And in the future please do not have unprotected intercourse if anyone unless you have been married to that person for 10 years and trust him to be faithful with you.  You never know who the other person may have been with and some things hang out a long time...

Evaluation: Yeast is the most common cause of vulvar itching. This would be treated with over the counter topical yeast cream. If not responding then an Obgyn evaluation is needed to investigate other causes such as lichen sclerosis. contact dermatitis  and lichen simplex chronicus

Allergy or infection: Are you allergic to latex, which is found in many condoms? It could be from have protected vaginal intercourse and then participating in oral sex. I would also suggest seeing a primary care physician or OBGYN for a possible UTI, or STD.

Yeast infection: Vaginal itch and irritation is usually 'yeast infection' . An std such as trichomonas is also possible so an exam is recommended.  If  a woman is post-menopause then symptoms may be related to low estrogen causing irritation with no discharge (atrophic vaginits).
