Weak pelvic support.: Without doing an internal exam, my answer is theoretical.  The muscles that support the bladder and uterus constitute the "pelvic floor."  With pelvic floor weakness, the bladder and uterus may descend and cause a sensation of fullness in the vaginal area.  Usually there are other symptoms, like urinary stress incontinence.   It's uncommon in young women who've never been pregnant.

Your: period most likely has NOTHING to do with the sprain/strain of your quadriceps muscle from your running!! Apply ICE (first 24 hours) the HEAT and REST the leg!

Rhabdomyolysis ?: Although heavy exercise after a week of abstinence may cause excess muscle strain b/c of the ability to sustain more strenuous workouts,  it will not cause vaginal bleeding.  Continued heavy exercise may alter your menstrual cycle (i.e., delay ovulation) and dysfunctional bleeding can occur from irregular estrogen levels. See your gyn physician if this continues.

Testing is important to determine the treatment and keep you and your partner safe.

Chronic vaginitis: It appears that you have a chronic vaginal infection caused by the e coli germ which was probably caused by contamination with stool.Antibiotics and proper wiping technique from front to back should be very helpful.

: If you're having increased vaginal discharge, see a doctor. Any new, abnormal or unexplained vaginal discharge should be professionally evaluated. It's usually not serious, but some case are. If you're sexually active, STDs are a potential cause. Good luck.
