Chemical odor,: with intercourse, vaginal and seminal fluids, can have a slight chemical odor.  Seminal fluids, particularly can have this effect. All is considered normal as long as no signs of infection are see.

The most common cause is just that ..rough sex  and lubricants can help!  Condoms also will help if LUBRICATED. I assume this is NOT a question about "safe sex"....since these answers only deal with your SYMPTOMS!

Bacterial vaginosis?: You can't get an STD without sex. It sounds like you probably have bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of vaginal bacteria. Did he perform oral sex on you? Sometimes that can trigger BV. See a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

When it mixes with blood or semen the ph gets elevated releasing the fishy odor. It is easily fixed with antibiotics. She wil need to be tested for other infections but this is the most likely.
