3 week "twitch": Uterine "twitching" can also become more severe and noticed when it is in the form of "cramping" However, this does not appear to be serious at this time unless the period is a "no show".

It is almost : Impossible to tell what's twitching unless your uterus is enlarged.Since you have a large uterus.you may a pregnancy test at home .you need a gynecological work up , however.

Are you pregnant ?: It sounds like you may be concerned about a possible pregnancy. If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. If negative then consider scheduling a visit for a pelvic exam to determine what might be causing these symptoms.

i have pcos, but i am feeling flutters in my uterus almost like twitching muscle, i am 3 months since last cycle, could i be experiencing ovulation?

Not sure if you: have ovulation, since there is not enough information about where you are with your treatment regimen, whether you are new PCOS and if you have had ovulation before. How do you know?: That is a rhetorical question because I'm not aware that anybody really knows exactly what UTERINE TWITCHING feels like. Not saying you don't have it...after all...it's a great big old muscle....but due to it being a deep pelvic organ it's really quite difficult to feel when it's "twitching", "twisted", "tingly" or otherwise, feeling anything unless you're pregnant and fairly far along term.

A qualified yes: The uterus is a large muscle, so therefore in theory at least it could 'twitch'.  The real question is whether you could feel it if it did, and that is unlikely since the uterus has a minimal sensory nerve supply. Other explanation for what you are feeling need to be considered.

If : If there is any possibility of pregnancy then please take a pregnancy test.  If you are having pain and abnormal periods, then you must be evaluated.  Even if your pregnancy test is negative, as your symptoms have been ongoing then please be checked.  If you have increased pain, vomiting, or fever then you must be seen as an emergency.

Maybe not: The uterus does not have very much nerve sensation, so it is not clear exactly what you are feeling and very well may not be the uterus.  It is something you may need to check out further, especially if it is severe and/or worsening.

: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

i am experiencing twitching in my uterus  over and over again, almost like a baby kicking. this has been going on for about a week. i am 4 days late on starting my period. i am not pregnant. is this serious? what might be causing this?

: It may be from contact of uterus with the bowel through which gas is moving around. Do a home pregnancy test.  If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully.
What you described is not serious.
