what do i need to do to have better chances of conceiving? i had an ultrasound on uterus. perfectly fine.....its just backwards.

Patience: It can take a normal couple up the 18 months to achieve a conception - so in most cases patience and regular sexual relations is all that is required.  If you have been trying for over a year and have not conceived then you should see your gynecologist to see if there is a specific problem that needs to be addressed to improve your fertility.  When TTC you should be taking folic acid.  Good luck.

Embedded IUD: If the iud was removed without complications like infection and the endometrium was not ablated, then pregnancy is possible. If the endometrium was ablated, then pregnancy chances are very low.

NOT GOOD: Your doc should have told u that you will need a laparoscopy or robotic surgery as you most likely have endometriosis and after the suregery then u will know your chances which still may not be good as your tubes may be in bad shape also , you may need in vitro to get preg.

Good but...: A bicornuate uterus does not typically keep a woman from getting pregnant; however, it can significantly increase the risks of miscarriage and premature birth. You should discuss these risks and what you may be able to do to minimize them with your physician before getting pregnant.

i just had hystorectomy. the gyno obs send the uterus and all the rubbish he removed for pathology tests. he called me today with lab results. they traced tb in my pelvic area. i googled a bit and see its called genital tubercelosis.  what next? help

Lay on your abdomen: A retro-flexed uterus means that the uterine position tilts backwards towards the spine. This in turn causes the cervix to point forwards towards the pubic bone. After intercourse if the woman lays on her abdomen this will allow sperm the pool around the cervix. This pooling hopefully will allow more sperm to enter into the reproductive tract.

No: Not really. Women with retroverted uteri go on to have normal conception and delivery of babies.
