Unknown: Certainly pregnancy rates are very low when the lining is less than 8 mm. Likely the ideal lining is between 10-14 mm. That probably varies between women.

Yes: follow the treatment recommendations of your fertility specialist.  Do nothing more or less.

Definitely: That is definitely an ovulatory progesterone level. With clomiphene I wouldn't get too hung up on "how many," it is really only supposed to give you one or two follicles. It improves you chances of conceiving significantly anyway. Drugs such as hMG ("shots") will increase follicle number, but that's a whole 'other approach. good wishes and good luck.

2nd cyc on clomid (clomiphene) for 2nd iui. 1st clomid (clomiphene) cycle was 3-7. lining was low 6.5 at insemination. was switched to days 2-6 per dr.  thoughts on difference?

Very little: Or maybe none. Studies from the 1980s showed basically identical pregnancy rates for cc started on cd 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Good luck!

just noticed a lh peak in ovulation test, 50 hours before my iui schedule. i have a natural iui cycle (follicle 16mm, lining 10mm, day10), but was told to get the trigger shot in 20 hours from now. what should i do? call the clinic to do iui earlier?

Not unusual: With an IUI, washed sperm is placed up in the uterine cavity. Frequently, the uterus will respond by contracting. You will feel this as cramping.

Spermatozoa: The life span of spermatozoa depends on the location of the sperm.
After IUI, the spermatozoa can survive inside uterus upto 5 to 6 days. It is good to note that fertilization usually occurs within 24 hours from the time of ovulation. Good luck.

Fertility specialist: Are often needed in these situations. Of course it is always recommended that women with PCOS exercise regularly and try to keep weight controlled. Diets that reduce sugar and that are high in fiber and vegetables/whole foods rather than processed are best. Sometimes adding metformin can be very successful in aiding PCOS patients achieve pregnancy. There's no substitute for expert advice though.

had my iui done 4 days bak.i didn't had any cramps/discomfort aftr iui.but some times i feel a tingly/itchy feeling near uterus & it goes away.reason?

Not unusual: The IUD is a foreign substance in the uterine canal. Such discomfort is not unusual in first week or so. Give it time and if it does not resolve to your satisfaction go to the clinic that inserted the IUD for checkup.
