ok i went to the doctor last month they found a cyst on my uterus i was told that it would rupture on it's on.by having a cyst will it make u bleed?

Cyst on uterus: It may be possible to have a cyst on the ovary or in the cervix but unusual to have a cyst on your uterus.  On the ovary, the cyst could rupture (same thing happens with ovulation) and cause some pain.  On the cervix, the cyst is filled with mucus and rarely ruptures. I would talk to your provider to clarify what he may have seen.

Go to Emergency room: Could be torsion or infection or bleeding or other.  This is a very complicated area even without a uterus.  If you are getting worse i think you should go to your favorite emergency room.

Ans: Yes the ovarian cyst can be very painful. But once it ruptures the pain should be gone

Ultrasound: shows abnormalities, from approximately 0.5 cm to anything larger. The irregular cycles, most likely are caused by irregular ovulation.  So pap smears on schedule, and further discussions with your doctor can be reassuring. If you wish to become pregnant treatment for the irregular ovulation pattern is very important.

Pain: See your gyn , as an ul;trasound and blood work can be done, many other things can mimic a ruptured cyst so do not guess , see yoru gyn.

Cyst rupture : Causes severe pain.  But this is a large cyst.  You need to see a gynecologist to make sure that this is a benign cyst and that it will not cause bleeding or torsion.

Pain, swelling: Having a ganglion cyst rupture is not necessarily a bad thing.  It is typically associated with pain and swelling in the area, but sometimes it will then not come back.  A ganglion cyst used  to be called a bible lesion, because they used to treat it by taking a bible or other large book and smash it down on the ganglion hoping to rupture it, with hopes it would not come back.
