Tampons in yeast inf: Best to wait a few days for maximal comfort. You can take acidophilus or another supplement like Flor-a-Stor to prevent yeast recurrence, too.

Yeast infection hurt: If you use yeast infection cream with your complaint, firstly you may be allergic to its content or your DX is incorrect  or you have a mixed infection; either way you should have a gyn consult with microscopic or culture reassessment to further look into your DX accuracy. Needs assessment: If you have been treated for vaginal yeast with fluconazole and mycolog and the symptoms are not improving then a reevaluation is needed. The Obgyn will have to determine if something other than yeast is causing the symptoms.Once the cause is determine then a treatment can be determined

No problem: The anti-fungal creams go in your vagina. The iud is hidden up insid the uterus, above the vagina.

Vagisil is worthless: Vagisil doesn't treat yeast. Lousy drug. only helps reduce itching, doesn't cure anything. If yeast professionally evaluated and confirmed, ask the doc or clinic about best treatment. If not, see doctor now. Or try OTC treatment; any cream or suppository with active ingredient ending in "azole" (miconazole, clotrimazole, etc), or fluconazole (Diflucan) by mouth. For sure see doc if doesn't work.

i had a pretty bad yeast infection. dr prescribed terconazole. 4. but now a a short 2 wks later. im having the same symptoms. so im using the cream ag?

Re-evaluation: You should see your physician for re-evaluation.  A different medication may be needed.
