Lanolin corona: The preparation is usually used for animal's hooves. It can also be used for a baby's diaper rash. However , be aware that lanolin can be highly allergic.

Several: products can be used such as Bacitracin , Neosporin, bees wax, petroleum jelly or some expensive stuff they call Tattoo Goo after care. Once healed, to prevent fading, use sunscreen.

Lichen sclerosis: Usually one does not need any treatment between doses of Clobetasol for lichen sclerosis. There are over the counter treatments for vaginal dryness such as Prevaleaf Soothe or Replens

i have extremely chapped lips in all weathers. vit b12 and iron are fine. drinking lots of water as well. i use lanolin medical grade only. ?

See a dermatologist: Do you habitually lick your lips? Saliva will do it. Taking more water, B12,, or iron is not relevant. Frequent chapstick, vaseline, Aquaphor may help, especially at night.

i have a small,superficial tear in crease of labia major&labia minor.no blood,no stich,just red and sore.can i use lanolin to protect it?heal at home?

You can: But zinc oxide (diaper stuff!) would protect you from the burn of urine, and promote healing as well.  No need to see anyone.  Sit in warm bath, dry off well, apply z.o. and a tissue.  If it feels good, you can sit on a small comfortably warm heating pad to promote healing.

Try this: A+d original ointment -- yes it's used for baby diaper rash, but i've has my patients use it successfully for cracked corners of the mouth.

after perianal abcess surgery and seton, i've been using a cream with lanolin. my dr. now sees that i'm probably allergic to lanolin after 4 weeks. what other options do i have? from all the washing, my anus is dry and sore. can i use vaseline?

: You could try a small amount of Vaseline to the area to see if this relieves your symptoms. If it doesn’t help, or if it feels worse, then call your doctor to see what else can be offered. I really hope you feel better soon! Best of luck to you!

Anhydrous: Anhydrous is a chemical term meaning without water.  Many chemical compounds naturally incorporate molecules of water into their crystalline structure. When these molecules of water are removed the compound is known as anhydrous. If the compound is re-exposed to water (even as water vapor) it will pull the water back into its structure. No reason not to use anhydrous compounds in a skin cream.

Be careful: I say if it's ok for human use it will be approved by the fda, come from a pharmacy, and you will need a physician to rx.  Any other source be wary and careful.

Probably: As long as you are not allergic to it it may be helpful. If you are allergic to wool, then you are allergic to lanolin.
