i drink 3 litres of water everyday. earlier urine color used to be light yellow ( normal ). from the past 3-4 days, it is bright yellow color. why?

Urine color: It could be that you have less urine output from fluid retention due to hormonal influences, heat,increased salt intake, sweating,etc. Less urine output causes more concentrated urine which would be more yellow.

recently started taking womens one a day 50+ multivitamin. urine is bright yellow. are these vitamins too strong or too much that its changing my urine color? maybe take different brand? it contains b1,2,6 & 12 as well as everything else?

: The color of the urine does not mean the multivitamin is too strong, it is just that like medications and foods the body absorbs what it wants and excrete the rest and some of the vitamins are excreted in the urine to make it the color that you have. It does not mean you should change the vitamin you are taking unless there are other issues apart from the color of the urine.

Who knows?: Theoretically, i don't think so, at least, through my 35-yr study and practice of surgery/medicine.

Why don't you try observing urine color with and without eating liver? But, be sure to maintain the same good urine output because the normal kidneys have good concentrating ability to make urine look light yellowish while dehydrated.

But if urgently in doubt, go to ask and talk with your doctor.

: Yes, it can. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. Too much cola is not a healthy habit.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

Contaminated: The color is fine; the urates precipitating may have caused the cloudiness and really mean nothing. The epithelial cells indicate likely contamination and this makes the reds less worrisome. Is your physician concerned? The most i'd do is repeat unless there's an actual reason to worry.

: That pattern of darker yellow urine coloration which improves with water intake does seem consistent with dehydration.

This is a link to a study done specifically to answer the question of using urine color to indicate hydration status: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4949298/.  Essentially, they found a relationship between urine color and daily fluid intake.
