Many possibilities.: Trouble with urination can be grouped into disorders of the bladder's ability to expel urine or obstruction of the outflow tract. Bladder problems include muscular disorders, diverticuli, diabetes, & neurologic problems. The most common cause of obstruction in men is an enlarged prostate, but strictures and blockage by stones can occur. If you're having difficulty, i recommend you see a urologist.

A common cause is infection: infections such as gonnorrhea or chalmydia, or urinary tract infections caused by e. Coli and others. Other causes: chemical irritation from soaps, lotions, or spermicide; vigorous sex, masturbation, & ejaculation. Seek evaluation: urine testing can reveal the diagnosis.
