Prolapse?: You could have a urethral prolapse or caruncle. You tend to see this in young people who strain with bowel movements or those with lower estrogen. Young women also have stds to worry about, like a wart perhaps. Get checked by a doc.

See my remarks: You have what we call URETHRITIS ,inflammation of urethra, caused by vaginal  discharge .Most likely it is fungal in nature.Does your wife complain of any discharge? (other conditions you have are not related to urethritis.)Vaginal fungus can be treated with over the counter creams.I suggest you see a urologist,or even your primary M.D.

my urethra is swollen on the left side. swelling is bad enough to close the opening, it has 2 small tears but doesnt hurt. what should i do?

Of course the urethra is narrow and hence affects the stream.
Sit in a warm tub for 5 minutes ,after drying apply a dab of Neosporin ointment to area twice a day.(any drug store carries the ointment.In the event it wont get well ,please see a doctor.

Swelling: Helping this swelling to go away turns on what it is or from.  This could be due to infection, inflammation, disease or injury. Penile swelling needs to be evaluated by a physician such as a Family Practice Physician or at your age a pediatrician. Most likely this can be helped but you will need physician evaluation.

No: Urethral stents are not commonly used secondary to their side effects.  If you are talking about a ureteral stent, one from the bladder to the kidney, that is entirely different.  In either case, it would be unusual to have generalized swelling after the procedure, and you should call your doctor.

Skene's gland: It could be a skene's gland cyst.  Because they can get infection please call your OB in the morning early in the day to see if you can be evaluated.  It's not an emergency if that's what it is, but probably better to not suffer over the weekend. try to warm compresses in the meantime
