my dr. prescribed nitrofuratoind it was supposed to be in capsule form but the pharmacy gave me liquid form, it is bothering my stomach what do i do?

See comment: Nitrofurantoin is irritant to stomach, at you age you should take in tablet form.
Additionally dont take it on an empty stomach.

The rugae contract periodically churning food. Growling may mean hunger.

Not quite...: ...How it goes. Water goes through the stomach and small bowel, gets absorbed into the blood in the large bowel, blood circulates in the entire body, gets filtered in the kidneys which then make urine. So it's not "in the stomach" that it spends most of the time, but in the rest of the body.

Sounds like reflux!: You have described some very common symptoms of acid reflux.  Rarely, more concerning anatomical problems can present this way as well.
