Pain "down there"...: To a degree, this depends on your age.  Younger boys with this sort of pain might be at risk for testicular torsion (twisting of the cords attached to the testicle).  Young men and older men can have some intermittent pain due to subtle blockages in the ducts and inflammation.  Unlikely to be infection since it comes and goes.  An exam would be of benefit to ascertain the exact location and dx.

my boyfriend has been having really bad testicular pain but all his tests come back normal. what could be causing the pain?

Rule out torsion: Intermittent testicular pain can be due to intermittent torsion (it)  . All tests will come back normal. Good test for it is ti twist the testicle inwards (like closing a book) and continue twisting until it is causes pain. Identical pain reproduction suggests it. Non specific testicular pain, so called "lovers nuts" 04 "blue balls" might be due to blood engorgement of the spermatic cord.

is it perfectly normal to have testicular pain while running after a groin strain?

No: The groin and the testicle are not the same and there may be very specific issues that require very specific and urgent treatment.  The testicle can become twisted or an appendage off the testicle can become twisted.  One may have a hernia, hydrocoele, or other issue.  If you have recurring pain with running in the groin or genitals, seek immediate evaluaiton.

: Best is to get checked out by your doc/urologist asapas without an exam no diagnosis can be made. Ibuprofen and testicular supprt may help in the meantime. Hope you feel better

Vasectomy ?'s: Pain from a vasectomy should be transient, but if you were catheterized duing the vasectomy, bacteria could be introduced into the bladder. See your surgeon who did the vasectomy for an exam and urine testing.

Physical examination: includes rectal examination , and pelvic examination in female doctor informs ,  in your case is needed. Pelvic examination  how ever more restrictions added  like age , need  availability of chaperon etc

Testicular Pain: Testicular pain is not a common side effect of having gonorrhea. I would look for other inflammation or other infection inside the scrotum.

i am having dull pain in my lower right abdomen for few days that comes and goes. previously i had taken lots of medicines for minor testicular pain. i have minor candidiasis in mouth, sometimes patches on chest that goes away with antibacteria cream?

: Stop taking antibiotics for 'minor' testicular pain. Also candidiasis in mouth can be caused by it, Wear a good supprt underwear. If pain persists see a Urologist and don't take any antibiotics specially if not prescribed by a Urologist. Not a good aidea to take ANY medicine unless prescribed.

my doctor prescribed lexapro, (escitalopram) i have been taking this med since 10 days and i experienced testicular pain. could it be a side effect?

Very unlikely: There are no reasons to believe that Lexapro (escitalopram) is causing testicular pain as a side effect. Most likely, if you have a pain which has started recently, you may consult a doctor for such reason. Maybe some anti-inflammatory medication (Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, etc) would help to reduce the pain. Still, if this pain persists, please make a consultation to discover the cause.

Yes: Involvement if the s-3 or s-4 nerve root can cause testicular pain.
