Doubtful: Most women have slightly asymmetrical breasts- this is a normal finding.

Need to be checked: If the inversion of your nipple is recent especially if it is associated with a breast lump you definitely need to see a breast care specialist for further evaluation and to check for possibility of a malignancy. If the inversion has been a long standing issue and if the lump is in your other breast they may not be related; but still you need to be medically checked. Do not procrastinate.

Pectoralis muscles: Consult your doctor. You may have underdeveloped pectoralis or missing pectoralis muscles on your left side. The condition is known as polish syndrome.

Scoliosis involving: the thorax causes a prominence of the ribs on the back and then on the opposite side in the front which may be somewhat noticable with or without breast growth.   Scoliosis tends to worsen during periods of growth, but most 17 year old girls have reached adult height, and their curve will most likely remain fairly stable.

If you are: talking about pectus excavatum, it is an uncommon but not rare condition.  Depending on its severity, it might need surgical correction.  Consult with a pediatric surgeon if, and when, an operation might become necessary.
