See an osteopath: This is the best time to get a spinal evaluation so your scoliosis can be monitored, and evaluated. So it's not progressing further. Depending where the scoliosis is, can impact your shoulders. Don't delay! you may find relief i getting omt (osteopathic medical treatment) done. It's covered by your insurance!

after a back/si injury x-ray & mri shows thoracic c. fractures, bulge@l-5-s1, tear@l4-l5 & levoscoliosis at l3-l4. after moving new dr say x-ray is normal!? still uneven w/pain & muscle weekness spasms. how do i seek treatment or get diagnosis?!?

A spine orthopedist is recommended and you should obtain all the radiology results on CD when seeing the orthopedist.

Sunscreen: Given the heat where you live and your skin type unless you wear sunscreen on your face everyday your face will be darker than the rest of your body since that is usually covered by clothes.

how do i treat pimple scars that now has become uneven skin tone?  at the scares im darker,  while my skin is lighter. any household treatments?

Uneven skin tone: There are myths about many household remedies for lightening the skin or treating skin conditions.  Often these remedies make matters worse.  Please see your dermatologist.  There are medications that would help with both acne and dark spots left after acne on the skin, such as tretinoin or azelaic acid.

is bio oil a good skin treaatment for acne scarring and uneven skin tone while on accutane? given you don't break out from the oil.

Myth but use if help: Many of my patients swear by the benefits of tea tree or bio-oil and so i generally don't dissuade them but there is very little science to support its use. It is probably the massage, (which we know helps scars)  that is used to apply the oil, which is actually providing the improvements observed. Massage with any clean oil 3-4 times a day. Silicon gel trips are more likely to improve the scar.

Get treated: I'm really sorry that your acne was neglected when you were growing up. If your were not treated because someone read "scare" stuff on the internet, it's regrettable. Vitamin C is worthless for this, but a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon can work you over with a laser, fillers, etc., as is right for you. Some actors (Jet Li, others) keep the scars to look "tough". Your choice. Best wishes.

i have got skin irritation from acne treatments  that had caused uneven skin tone on my face. can i know if it will subside on its own? i have been using aloe vera and also a serum that contains niacinamide,vitc,retinol,hyaluronic and salicylic acid.

Acne: What you're applying is ok and can add vitamin e cream daily as a regimen. Acne can scar too and can be permanent but usually fades out in time. The acne RX is a drying agent and can redden and dry the skin so avoid.

Retin A (tretinoin) and vit C: Treatment of stretch marks varies depending on many factors.  The most important is your type of skin (firm vs soft), the duration of the lesions (older ones are harder to treat.)  then the color.  The white ones are tougher to treat than the red ones.  Try retin a (tretinoin) 0.05% cream at night and vit c serum in the morning.  It takes at least 2 months to see improvement.  Laser tx is your next choice.

i just want to inquire about health issues regarding on the topic of butt itching. what is the most effective treatment for butt itching & medicines.

Pruritis ani: Itching of the anal area is often due to a perianal dermatitis and/or excessive cleansing and wiping of the anus after a bowel movement. Toilet paper may be too abrasive. After a few wipes with the tissue,use a cream like balneol on the paper for further wipe
Also apply cortisone type cream sparingly occasionally to relieve itching. Thereafter keep the anal clean and dry, and wear white undershorts.
