Only the incidence of nausea occurred at a statistically higher frequency in the vaccinated group as compared to the placebo group." It appears that nausea is the most common reaction.

No: Oral typhoid vaccine has been shown to be very safe and has not shown to cause typhoid fever. The risks are negligible. 
But the oral typhoid vaccine is also not fully studied in pregnant or nursing mothers and for children less than 6 months of age.

bottomline: better off getting vaccine to improve your odds of staying well.
