warts are same: Caused by hpv virus , with so many subtypes , each has its own behavior most of the genital warts are caused by type 6 ;11 but cx cancers by 16;18  .   Plantar warts are caused by 1, 2, 4, 27, ; 57  usually plantar warts will not infect genitals vice versa . Have their own fetish  there are over 100 to 150 subtypes, of hpv virus

Simple skin wart: Simple skin warts are common in children and seem more common on the  back of hands & fingers but may occur on other surfaces. There is a cousin of the wart called molluscum contagiosum that is also common on a variety of surfaces. Mc often causes more itching & falls off after a few months.

Depends: Not warty looking skin lesions are contagious, e.g, seborrheic keratosis looks like a wart but is not contagious. Other types of warts are caused by HPV and are contagious.

: Common skin warts can appear on any skin surface, including the back of the neck. Some strains are specific to certain skin locations, like the strains only found on genital skin. The common skin wart strains arise on other skin surfaces.

Herpes : Herpes simplex virus causes painful ulcers, human papilloma virus (hpv) causes warts.  The other thing to consider is that everyone has a row of big bumpy-wart looking tastebuds for bitter tastes across the backs of their tongues. (check out the picture i attached below.) you don't usually see them on other people because you have to open your mouth pretty wide to notice them.  To know for sure what you have, you should call your doctor and have them take a look.  Good luck!

If your back is : Literally covered with warts - you need to see a dermatologist. It isn't normal to have a large surface are taken up by human papilloma virus. Take care.

i keep having a wart removed and it comes back again and again. what next?

Accepted Answer

Different method: Warts can be very stubborn.  If it has been frozen by a dermatologist, you may need to consider other treatment options, such as injections of chemical irritants, or using a cream which can kill some of the viruses that cause warts.  See your doctor again, and consider going to a university based derm clinic.
