Common skin warts can appear on any skin surface, including the back of the neck. Some strains are specific to certain skin locations, like the strains only found on genital skin. The common skin wart strains arise on other skin surfaces.

Yes, warts can develop just about anywhere, and the back of the neck is not exempt. Be sure it is axwart before you start any home therapies. If not sure, see PCP or a dermatologist for appropriate diagnosis and discussion of treatment options.

You can protect yourself from the more serious strains of HPV by getting HPV vaccination. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
