Safe but not needed?: It would be safe, but probably unnecessary. Single dose Monistat ovules usually are sufficient. Don't expect yeast symptoms to clear up immediately; it takes at least 2-3 days.

: You can try one of these approaches or a combination: suppression Tx with metronidazole gel 7.5%, 5-gram dose, twice a week for 4-6 months or boric acid vaginal suppository every night x 1 month or/and sex abstinence vs partner with condom use . Suppression therapy or boric acid suppository should be started after 1 week of induction therapy with standard dose of oral metronidazole or tinidazole.

Two implantations: Twin pregnancies can occur with one or two amnions and one or two chorions.  The twin pregnancies with the least complications have two amnions and two chorions.  The most complications occur in twin pregnancies with only one of each membrane.

Usually not: If you mean your growth as a 16 year old, most premies have " catch up growth" , and are back on the standard growth curves by 2 to 3 years old. As long as the child doesn't have other issues, it usually doesn't effect the long term growth.

Unlikely: you may request treatment of sperm to make it more likely to cause a male in a pregnancy--enquire at the Genetics and IVF center in Virginia, just outside of Washington.  it is no longer appropriate for placement of more than one embryo with in vitro fertilization, because the chance of success is no better than with a single embryo, and of  increased risk of significant problems in twin pregnancy

Multiple gestations: Multiple ovulation circumstances are often a function of  family genetic predisposition. In other words, passed down from generation to generation. There is actually a mathematical formula for twinning based on this fact. Generational "skipping" can also occur as well if the sperm donating male has twinning on his side of the family.

Depends: Could be what we call a vanishing twin.  Some people get tricked by something called a uterine synechium. In either case, it sounds like there is one healthy baby in there.

Have him see his Dr: Start with a physical exam, basic lab tests and a complete semen analysis. If he checks out reproductively, then you will need to see your Gyn or be referred to a Fertility Medicine specialist for exam, blood tests and likely a hystero-salpingogram (HSG) to see if your system has changed. Conjoined placenta: Unfortunately, the placenta often becomes shared between the twins and the one with the better access to the cotyledons of the placenta thrives and the other twin does not. An alternate scenario is when the two fraternal fetal twins are joined together but one does not develop as well as the other prior to placental development in the first trimester.
