Believe they mean: Finding a purpose and direction born of conviction and desire.  Something that helps guide your decisions and actions rather than just filling your days with meaningless activities...But that's just a guess.  Ask them what they mean.

Live your life...: Choices that a friend makes to lie don't have to affect your life.  Choose to live your life in integrity - being honest and supporting what is best for you.  Talk to your friend (with concerns, not blame) if you feel you need to; you are not responsible for her feelings.  Assume 100% responsibility for your life - her lying doesn't affect your recovery unless you allow it to. You have a choice.

Smallpox: All natural sources of smallpox have been eradicated. The WHO announced World-wide eradication of Smallpox on May 8 1980. Smallpox has no animal reservoirs. So Smallpox would not return naturally.

Narcissistic people: As a therapist, i try to empathize with their suffering, build trust, and gradually help them see how their patterns of treating others interfere with their relationships & enjoyment of life.  This is tedious, long-term work. As a friend/ family member, I do not offer advice unless asked, as i know how sensitive they are to that.  I try to be present, while caring for myself also.
