Half life 24 hrs: it has a relatively short half life.  It should be out of your system by now.

i had a 10,000 iu trigger shot 11 days ago, today i used a first response test and it came back with a very light positive. is this still the trigger?

Need more info: If you did not have sex since your last period, you are not pregnant. You may repeat the pregnancy test in a week and if it is still positive, see your doctor for a blood test for HCG and/or ultrasound examination.
By the way, HCG injections are worthless and will not do you any good.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Varies: After the bhcg injection the levels will slowly decline. For most people this will take about 7-10 days.

Should not effect: The shot should not effect it if you ovulated. BBT is not always reliable to confirm ovulation. Your GYN could check a progesterone level to confirm ovulation.

Sounds real: Bhcg injections should not cause a false positive pregnancy test 16 days out. Sounds like a true positive pregnancy test. Schedule with your fertility doc for a blood bhcg test for confirmation.

Day after: Triggered ovulations are usually close to 36 hours after trigger, unless the ovulation has already started when the trigger is given. I'd count you as 8 DPO not 9. Good wishes.

i took the trigger shot on jul20th 24 hrs prior to having my iui procedure.  i took a test today & it was positive. is it most likely accurate ?

Possibly: It's possible that a pregnancy test could be positive. You need to check with your MD. He or she will likely check blood levels to confirm.

had to take my first hcg trigger shot was supposed to use two ccs but i messed up and used a little more will it mess anything up help i'm worried?

No: I assume you are using this for weight loss. It will not hurt but next time, have your pcp perscribe pre measured syringes.
