Depends: The itchy area is more likely treated with a different  antibiotic.  It is unlikely Trich. Jock itch more likely.
Sounds like a look and see situation needed. Not for  telemedicine site. See a local physician for further evaluation.

: Trichomonas is usually diagnosed by a "wet smear" under a microscope.  Ciprofloxin or other quinolone antibiotics do not treat trichomonas, and a repeat urine culture/sensitivity is needed to determine an appropriate antibiotic for a "persistent UTI".

Yes, but: Yes, but take the vagianl cream - metrogel- not the oral flagyl.  Partner needs to be treated too.

Local health departm: You can be treated at the local health department, typically for free.  This is a sexually transmitted infection and as such both partners need treatment to prevent continued infection. Your local health department can also test for other STD'S which is highly recommended to protect you and your health. There is no over the counter treatment for STD'S in this country.

Trichomoniasis:  Although there have been reports of Trichomoniasis resolving in MALES without treatment - I wouldn't count on this because it can go silent.  It is important to get treatment.

Hello class:: Most people, especially males, have no symptoms related to carriage of this protozoan in the genital tract.  Women can have a watery, brownish discharge from the vagina and the organism is said to contribute to low birth weight babies. Males can also be symptomatic with burning upon urination.
